Workforce Florida is the state's chief workforce policy organization. Created by the Workforce Innovation Act of 2000, the public-private partnership supports and promotes economic growth through workforce development.
The Quick Response Training Program (QRT) provides grant funding for customized training for new or expanding businesses. QRT has provided customized training for over 45,000 employees for more than 200 businesses and industries throughout the state. The program has been structured to be flexible and to "respond quickly" to meet the business's training objectives. Salary limits of 115% of the county wage must be reached.

Incumbent Worker Training (State Program)
The Incumbent Worker Training Program provides grant funding for customized training to existing businesses. The program is designed to retain and keep businesses competitive through upgraded skills training for existing employees. The Incumbent Worker Training Program has provided customized training to over 3,500 employees for more than 46 businesses throught the state.
