Port of Tampa - Full Service Deep Water Port

Tampa Bay provides the closest full-service deep-water ports to the Panama Canal with complete stevedoring, bunkering and ship repair facilities. More than 50 private terminals serve the two ports, along with more than two-dozen stevedores. Both non-union and International Longshoreman's Association labor provide services in the area.

Port of Tampa

The 12th largest cargo port in the nation and has the largest dockside cold storage facility in North America. The port of Tampa handles nearly half of all sea borne commerce that passes through the state and has several home ported passenger vessels, making it a major cruise port. The port of Tampa has always relied on bulk cargo but is now diversifying its cargo operations by attracting the booming cruise business.

Port Manatee

Port Manatee is the fifth largest of Florida's 14 deepwater seaports. It ranks first among the Sunshine State's west coast ports in container movements. Approximately 2,000 used cars and trucks are exported each month from Port Manatee to Central America. It ranks number one nationally for importing frozen concentrated orange juice and is the nation's leading export location for citrus juices and beverages.
