Goal: Improve perceptions by enhancing Pasco’s internal and external image

• Create and market a strong brand identity for “New  Pasco”
• Make “New Pasco” the Talk of the Bay for progressive business recruitment policies
• Increase opportunities to engage key community  leaders in the PEDC
• Invest in internal and external marketing


Objective A: Creating the Brand

  1. Identify and market Pasco’s competitive advantages
  2. Strengthen Pasco's brand within Tampa market


Objective B: Marketing the Brand

  1. Develop a strategy to begin addressing the objectives of the  ULI market areas
  2. Establish a national marketing program for outreach to site selection consultants
  3. Develop a proactive plan to participate with regional partners that attract value added businesses


Objective C: Internal Outreach

  1. Continue to educate the community on the importance of economic development
  2. Develop a public relations campaign within the county to promote relationships and collaboration among existing partners 
  3. Continue to educate investors on the value and impact of the PEDC
