The County has three major utilities providing electrical service. Progress Energy serves primarily southwest Pasco and the Zephyrhills area of East Pasco; Tampa Electric Company serves the Dade City area and other locations in the southern portion of the County; and Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative serves the northern and central portions of the County with the exception of the Dade City area.
