Location is everything as they say, especially when it comes to relocating a business. Centrally located on the West Coast of Florida, Pasco County's major highways, airports, railroad lines and a deep water port are easily accessible. I-75 connects Pasco County with the Tampa Bay area to the south and I-4 connects Pasco with Orlando to the east.

Tampa International Airport is located just 30 miles away. The county also has the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport and several small privately operated airports that are within an easy drive.

Pasco County is business-friendly. Lower tax rates benefit both Pasco corporations and residents. State corporate income taxes are 5.5 percent, while retail sales tax remains at 7.0 percent. Residents benefit from the absence of a state personal income tax. The total Ad Valorem Millage rate for 2007 was 14.40.

Pasco County was ranked the 9th fastest growing county in Florida and the 38th fastest growing county in the United States based on population change from July 2004 to July 2005. Pasco County was ranked #1 in the United States for job creation in the Spring of 2005 (April 1-June 30) with a 9.5 percent increase over the previous year. The U.S. Census Bureau ranks Pasco at #8 among counties with the largest number of people moving into a county.
