Pasco Enterprise Network is a finalist for a BizTech Award!

Pasco County, Florida — The Pasco Enterprise Network (PEN) has been selected as a finalist in the category of “Best Website for Generating Leads” by the BizTech Innovation Summit Awards.
The Biz Tech Summit hosted by the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and Tampa Bay Business Journal aims to identify and acknowledge the substantive gains Tampa Bay area businesses are making in the ways they are developing, employing and utilizing technology for their own companies and clients. Winners will be named at the BizTech Innovation Summit Awards and Expo on March 13 at the Tampa Convention Center.
PEN’s website, www.pascoenterprise.net, is a partnership of local agencies in Pasco County that help connect small businesses to free resources that can help them navigate the steps involved in starting and running a small business. In the last month, more than 89 referrals for assistance have been made to the Pasco Enterprise Network.
“A large percentage of Pasco County’s economy is supported by small businesses,” says John Hagen, President/CEO of the Pasco Economic Development Council. “For small business owners and entrepreneurs who need help, and don’t know where to turn, the PEN web site connects business owners to free services that can improve their chances of success.”
