By coordinating state, regional and local resources, Pasco EDC can offer an array of services designed to help your business be successful. Pasco EDC can help your company with their parts for business opportunities in Florida related to expansion or relocation. Pasco County has had significant growth in electronics, health management, metal fabrication, optics, plastics and medical instrumentation keeping pace with the evolution of the Tampa Bay region.

Pasco County is experiencing explosive growth in all sectors of the economy. The business community and environment is also changing dramatically. Historically, Pasco was a retirement and bedroom community to the Tampa Bay region. Today Pasco is in the path of growth, and is "the land of opportunity" for the region. Pasco County business development is thriving with new retail, commercial, industrial, office and residential growth for an increased labor pool. With Pasco County flourishing, business development in Tampa is also on the rise, offering additional opportunities for expanding businesses.

Pasco Economic Development Council is a key resource for businesses looking to relocate into the Tampa Bay area or Pasco County, Florida. We provide assistance with business relocation, so you can concentrate on important goals and business decisions. PEDC can help you and your business with site and building selection, acquisition and permitting, employment recruitment, labor market analysis, training, and assistance understanding regulatory authorities. 

Pasco County is made up of thousands of businesses both large and small. Should Pasco County be affected by a major disaster, Pasco Economic Development Council (PEDC) is here to assist businesses with recovery, assistance programs, and information. PEDC is the official liaison to connect Pasco County businesses with Federal, State, and local government agencies and programs. To ensure adequate support, PEDC will coordinate with the five chambers of commerce to identify staff and alternates for the Emergency Operation Center and for the Business Disaster Recovery Center.

Pasco Economic Development Council established a community based microloan fund that will act as a loan source for credit worthy Pasco County small businesses. The microloan fund will help to create a stronger economy, job opportunities and provide entrepreneurial education in our community.  It will also help certain types of disadvantaged businesses who often have difficulties accessing credit, such as women-, minority-, veteran- and disabled-business owners. 

The SMARTstart Incubator is a new and innovative strategy program to engage entrepreneurs, grow new businesses and create job opportunities in Pasco County. The incubator will provide direct opportunities for local business professionals, students and faculty to work with and support entrepreneurs.
