Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
The SCORE Association is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE Association volunteers serve as "Counselors to America's Small Business." Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Over the past 20 years, the SBDC has assisted over 75,000 small business owners. The SBDC services include FREE one-on-one confidential counseling, low-cost entrepreneurial training and the business resource center (a business library and computer lab). The SBDC conducts more than 200 entrepreneurial programs annually on topics and issues that are important to today's small business owners. Rural Business Cooperative Services
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Federal Program Rural Business Cooperative Services (RBS), these business programs work in partnership with the private sector and community-based organizations to provide financial assistance and business planning. RBS helps fund projects that create or preserve quality jobs and/or promote a clean rural environment. The financial resources of RBS are often leveraged with those of other public and private credit source lenders to meet business and credit needs in under-served areas.
